My Real Estate career started by working with vacation rentals and property management. After five years of property management experience I decided it was time to move to full-time sales. So, I worked for a company that had both property management and Real Estate sales. This was a great opportunity to put my education into action. Three years later, I had a total of eight years of field experience and I was ready to start my career as a full-time Real Estate professional. After working for a firm in Boone for two years I decided to move to a Blowing Rock Office and that is what brought me to Blowing Rock Investment Properties.
I take pride in my career and I take advantage of every opportunity to improve my professionalism. I also believe that one can never have enough education. In my real estate career I have earned many designations to broaden my expertise. I have earned my GRI-Graduate Realtor Institution (GRI), GREEN designation, e-PRO, and SFR-Short Sale and Foreclosure designation.

I am a graduate of Appalachian State University with a BSBA in Real Estate and Urban Analysis. I came to Boone from South Boston, VA in 1997 to attend ASU. I have always been interested in Real Estate and I continue to pursue that passion today. While attending ASU’s Walker College of Business, I became an active part of Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) the only co-ed, professional fraternal organization in sales, marketing, and management. In my three years with PSE, I was nominated and elected as the Vice President of Human Resources, and later I was chosen as President of the organization. I was also a member of the Walker College of Business Dean’s Council.
